# Project Deliverables

## Definition

Project deliverables are the pieces of work that are produced by teams during the completion of project milestones.

## How it Relates to Other Components

Deliverables often require people from different project [duties ](/project-portal/project-success-handbook/project-components/project-duties.md)and project [team functions](/project-portal/project-success-handbook/project-components/project-team-functions.md) to collaborate together. The deliverables are the things that determine whether a [project milestone](/project-portal/project-success-handbook/project-components/project-milestones.md) is completed or not. In order to produce project deliverables, teams must get together and perform [project activities ](/project-portal/project-success-handbook/project-components/project-activities.md)and [project workshops](/project-portal/project-success-handbook/project-components/project-workshops.md).

## Examples of Project Deliverables

Here's a dashboard showing the different kinds of project deliverables that team functions perform in project work for different types of projects.
