# Life as a Project Training Teammate

The world requires experience, a portfolio, and a lot of skills. In our community, can be a teammate and share leadership with others, with none of that.

While some teammates carry experience, you do not need any prior experience to take a team role in Tech Fleet project training. Teammates are chosen based on their level of service leadership mindset and their level of agile mindset. You can build this as a community member through our [Agile training and resources](/agile-training-portal/agile-training-in-tech-fleet.md).

Check out the section in this handbook about [Applying to Project Training](/team-portal/new-teammate-handbook/project-training-teams/applying-to-tech-fleet-project-training.md) for more information about what we look for in applicants, and how to apply.
