# Re-Applying to Project Training

Project training teammates who finish a [project phase](/project-portal/project-success-handbook/project-components/project-phases.md) and want to continue to the next phase should re-apply. This provides an equal chance for people returning and new community members to join project training teams.

When returning teammates [apply](/team-portal/new-teammate-handbook/project-training-teams/applying-to-tech-fleet-project-training.md), they are asked different [questions on the project phase application](/team-portal/new-teammate-handbook/project-training-teams/applying-to-tech-fleet-project-training/application-questions/tech-fleet-project-phase-application-questions.md) that asks them about their previous training experience.
