# Read the Other Handbooks Before Reading the Teammate Handbook

## Read These Handbooks First

Before you become a teammate in project training, volunteer work, or classes, you should read the other handbooks our community has generated first:

### Agile Handbook

The Agile Handbook covers everything about the Agile Ways of Work compared to the Waterfall Ways of Work. Leanr how Agile teams build things, how they treat each other as teammates, how they operate, and how they deliver iterative value to the world.

### Project Success Handbook

The Project Success Handbook is for any kind of team-based problem solving in the world! It covers operations of project-based teamwork. Learn the different parts of the project lifecycle, how they work, what kinds of work they involve, and how to use the workshop templates we've made in the community to deliver the milestones as a team.

### Observer Handbook

People in our community start getting involved by watching real agile teams operate. We call them Observers, and we've kept all community team meetings open for them to observe from day 1. Learn about the basics of observing, the benefits of observing, what to expect while observing, and how to observe.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.techfleet.org/team-portal/new-teammate-handbook/start-the-teammate-handbook-here/read-the-other-handbooks-before-reading-the-teammate-handbook.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
