🤝Project Duties
Definition
A duty is a set of responsibilities that teammates choose to take on as part of the project outcomes and milestones. Teammates who are cross-functional have people commit to their own duties, instead of telling people what to do.

Teams who are cross-functional do not work in "departments" isolated. They co-work with each other and involve each other in the work constantly. Researchers do design; product people do research; designers do development. Teammate duties are decided by each team member. They commit and decide themselves how they want to get involved with a deliverable called a RACI chart. Check out the Agile Handbook for more information about how team functions work on cross-functional agile teams:

The duty is a set of activities that people commit to every week, or every iteration, depending on the Agile Method you have chosen for your team (see about methods here). These will determine how people get involved in different deliverables.
