As a member of the Board of Directors of Tech Fleet Inc., I have a legal and ethical responsibility to ensure that the organization does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals. I support the purpose and mission of the organization and pledge my commitment to assist in carrying out its work. As a board member, I understand that the organization will be responsible to me in the following ways: 1. Attend Board Meetings monthly (with attendance of at least 75% of meetings) 2. Serve on one or more committees (TBD -typically finance, fundraising, executive/steering/strategy, and communications). Committees will have their own schedules, projects, and leadership. 3. Contribute to general efforts necessary to advance our programs and mission (for example, helping with campaigns or events, or meetings for any crisis actions) 4. Agree to enact and support decisions made by the board, even if they voted against them 5. Evaluate progress toward program and financial goals 6. Exemplify our values and evangelize our mission 7. Contribute at least 2-5 hours a week (or 10+ hours a month) to Tech Fleet board and program activities 8. Take legal responsibility for the financial well-being of the organization 9.
