Here's everything you need to know about Apprentices in Tech Fleet:
An apprentice is a member of team project training in Tech Fleet. You work alongside peers that are other apprentices, co-leads, and mentors. You work on a client project. Apprentices must apply to projects in order to join. Projects are eleven weeks, and we open new projects to apply to every month.
Please note: having the Apprentices role does not mean you're on a team yet. It means you can see the alerts to apply to openings for projects as an apprentice. It also means you get channels for guidance as someone who is applying as an apprentice, or actively apprenticing. You still need to apply to a project and be selected by a co-lead. Getting the Apprentices Role is the next step towards joining a team.
Tech Fleet highly recommends Observing as the first step to interacting with the community, and a first step to joining projects. We offer this for anyone in the community.
