The process of starting projects
Tech Fleet meets with client to collect needs
Client and Tech Fleet build a scope and deliverables document
Tech Fleet determines project roles
Tech Fleet project coordinator creates applications
Tech Fleet opens applications to the community for 5 days
Applications close
Leads who applied get interviewed by the project coordinator
Lead team forms
Leads work to choose their interviewees from the list who've applied
Leads reach out and schedule up to 10 interviews with potential apprentices who've applied
Leads pick up to 4 apprentices from those they've interviewed
Leads and project coordinator build the "Next Up" list
Team does ice breakers
Team builds backlog and performs pre-sprint activities
Project sprint kicks off for 8 weeks
After Applying
After the applications close, the Project Coordinator will build the Leads team
Interviewing the Lead applicants and confirming commitment to the project
An announcement will projectโs general channel
Once the Leads team is formed they will go through all the Apprentice applications and reach out to schedule interviews (usually a week or two after applications close)
Leads will interview the Apprentices applicants (one week to complete)
Leads will offer roles and finalize their team (one week to complete)
Announcements should be made on the projectโs general channel confirming the entire team
Project pre-kickoff activities begin
